I was born in Truro, Nova Scotia and grew up in a small community. I started writing when I was a child and developed this hobby into a passion. In high school, I took Creative Writing and Journalism and was involved in several Musical Theatre productions.

In February 2008, I opened Kill Jill Goes To College, a college blog. This would lead to me opening several other blogs and websites, since my style of writing works well with the blogging format. Soon, it became a full-fledged addiction and passion.

I started taking photography seriously in 2008, the same year I started Journalism at Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI. I fell in love with the small city and the artsy atmosphere contained within it. I intend on taking Interactive Multimedia at the same school in September.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, painting, collecting vinyl records and quoting my friends when they say something hilarious.
